Rayna Qu BBA, MPA

Naturally excellent with numbers and calculations, Rayna says her detail-oriented personality is an ideal fit for her role as an assurance accountant at IMA. After completing her master’s degree in professional accounting from the University of Auckland, Rayna worked as an accountant in the export industry, preparing documentation. She then took up a role at a body corporate company, where she specialised in tax. This range of experience gave Rayna many of the skills she needed to work at IMA, where she loves spending every day working with spreadsheets and making the numbers dance.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration, Rayna followed in her older brother’s footsteps, moving to New Zealand in early 2020 to live and study. She enjoys the blue skies and clear waters of Aotearoa, spending her spare time swimming at the beach. By the end of 2024, Rayna will have completed her Chartered Accountant qualification.
