Rachel holds a Bachelor of Finance from China and a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting from New Zealand. Drawn to New Zealand’s relaxed lifestyle and culture, she chose to stay and complete her Chartered Accountant qualification. As an assurance accountant at IMA, Rachel works across a broad portfolio of clients, contributing to audit and assurance engagements. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues and clients, gaining exposure to different industries, and developing a strong understanding of each client’s business. With every review presenting new challenges and learning opportunities, she finds her auditing work both stimulating and rewarding.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys hiking, exploring outdoor markets, and taking part in social activities around Auckland.
